Guataca Productions is committed to promoting and celebrating Spanish-language Theater through our Hispanic Theater Festival in Boca Raton. This festival aligns with Hispanic Heritage Month, a nationwide celebration that unites cultures every year in September and October.

In 2023, our inaugural festival featured two plays, presented over a weekend and met with resounding success from the Hispanic community, both locally and from surrounding areas. Building on this momentum, the 2024 festival showcased five Spanish-language plays in various venues, catering to diverse audiences. A highlight of that year was our first international guest from Mexico City, Teatro Naku MX who presented an innovative puppetry performance for both children and adults.

As we look toward the third edition of the festival in 2025, we are actively working to expand its reach. Our goal is to continue fostering a thriving Spanish-language theater scene, not only in Boca Raton but also in other Hispanic communities.
