The word “Guataca”evokes joy, party, celebration, and excitement. Every Guataca night is an invitation to celebrate music spontaneously and communally.

The “Guataca Nights”; platform was created by Aquiles Báez, guitarist, composer, and producer, andErnesto Rangel, a businessman enthusiastic about Venezuelan music. It´s a platform aimed at showcasing the talent of emerging Venezuelan musicians, promoting their projects, and supporting their initiatives from Venezuela to the world. All of this has been possible thanks to the drive of a network of producers who have set out to promote and disseminate not only Venezuelan musical talent and production but also the Latin American musical heritage worldwide.

In 2019, Betsy Caceres joined this platform, bringing Guataca nights to life in the city of Boca Raton, Florida. A very hard and passionate job to foster meetings and celebrate our culture, its rhythms, not only among the Latin community but also for all cultures that live in the United States.
